Tell someone their model WILL NOT PRINT, before six hours of filament says it.

A preflight VERDICT over caller-supplied FDM mesh facts. You run your own mesh library -- trimesh, admesh, MeshLab, your slicer's own diagnostics, whatever you already use -- hand this library the facts it produced, and get back one of three answers per problem: PROVEN, LIKELY, or NOT DETERMINABLE, plus the exact physical consequence if it is real. Zero-dependency TypeScript; it does no I/O and parses no files.

THE SILENT FAILURE. The catalogue's thesis is that a wrong-but-plausible answer is worse than a crash. In this vertical a wrong answer moves a motor, unlocks a door, or here commits real filament and real hours to a part that was never going to be right.

The sharpest case is SELF-INTERSECTING GEOMETRY. A mesh whose surfaces pass through each other is not invalid to a slicer -- it slices, it produces G-code, the preview looks plausible, and the printer runs. What comes off the plate has walls in the wrong places. Nothing in the chain reported a problem, because from each tool's point of view there wasn't one.

THREE ANSWERS, NOT TWO. PROVEN means the facts settle it. LIKELY means the evidence points one way and is not conclusive, and it says so rather than rounding up. NOT DETERMINABLE names the measurement that would settle it. A preflight that always returns pass or fail will be overridden the first time it is confidently wrong, and then it is not there for the print that mattered.
